We hope that you have all had a Merry Christmas and hope that 2021 brings a much more positive year for us all.
As Master Cancel have left the UK market we are, unfortunately, no longer able to offer it on our bookings. We will keep you up to date on what this means for your breaks with us in the coming days.
We now have our calendar updated to the end of 2023 so you can start planning ahead for a break with us.
At Llanlliana, the health and safety of our guests and the cleanliness of the property has always been paramount. Llanlliana has always been cleaned to the highest standard, however, we are now taking many additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and our staff.
Our cleaning team will now be following an enhanced cleaning regime that encompasses our usual cleaning standards, but it will also be followed up with a full disinfection of the property. Steps we are taking to keep our guests safe are -
Our cleaning team will be increasing in size to enable us to follow up the cleaning stage with a full disinfection of the property within our changeover time. As we know your time is precious here, we have therefore not altered your check-in or check-out times. We will therefore need a little extra help from our guests in the coming months.
We don’t want Llanlliana to feel less like a home, we have therefore opted to have a second set of most items and rotate them between guests to add an extra level of safety for you. We have second sets of plates, glasses, cutlery, cushions etc. to keep you as safe as possible.
We will be removing any non-essential items that we don’t think you will miss.
Any items that can’t be rotated or removed will be disinfected with either steam or a disinfecting mist after the property has been fully cleaned. Items that can’t be rotated or removed are things like curtains and sofas.
We will be operating a contactless check in with our guests, meaning we can, sadly, no longer show our guests around the house. We used to love showing our guests around Llanlliana, but this is no longer possible. We will therefore send you a guide to the house before you arrive, we will now just greet you outside to show you the hot tub controls and be on hand to answer questions by phone during your break.
Please do let us know if we have missed anything off the guide to the house so we can add it for the next guests.
Before your holiday, we will send you some helpful information about how you can help lower the transmission of Covid-19 whilst on your break. Mostly these are simple measures like opening windows on the morning of departure and bagging up your bed linen before you leave.
We ask that you adhere to the check-in and check-out times. We will be working extremely hard to get the house ready for you - and the guests after you - and will not be able to achieve the high level of cleanliness needed unless we have every minute possible.
We ask that you always act to minimise risk, not only within your own party but also whilst visiting local towns and villages. Please remember that the local area may have different rules to where you have travelled from. Please be mindful when visiting local towns and villages to keep your distance from others, ensure you have booked ahead for any pubs / restaurants and are abiding by the rules of the businesses you are visiting. Most importantly, if it looks too busy, please consider visiting elsewhere on the Island.
As we are sure you will be aware, new research is being conducted all the time, and this can often prompt a change in Government guidance. We will, of course, keep up to date with the latest information and adapt our approach appropriately. In addition, we will listen to first-hand feedback from our guests and housekeepers and do whatever we can to safely meet everyone’s needs.
We have obtained our “We’re Good To Go” badge from Visit Britain, and also our “Covid Confident” badge from the AA. Both schemes require that we prove our good practices towards cleanliness and safety, meaning you can be reassured that we are doing everything we can to keep all our guests safe.
Any bookings placed from the 8th September 2020 - You are now covered by our flexible cancellation policy provided by Master Cancel. Master Cancel provides coverage if you cancel your booking between 60 days and 2 days before your arrival. If you cancel before the 60 days, we will also provide you with the same flexible cancellation terms allowing you to have a full refund for your booking. If your cancellation is made within 2 days of your arrival, there will be no refund made as we would be unable to rebook your dates.
Master Cancel will not offer coverage for the Rule of Six, therefore there will be cancellation fee of £160 payable if your booking can not go ahead due to this.
Bookings placed before the 8th September 2020 - if you cancel up to 90 days before your arrival your deposit will be retained by us. If you cancel between 90 days and your arrival we will retain your full accommodation cost unless we are able to rebook your dates for the same price. If we are able to book at a lower price we will retain the difference.
If your booking was made before the 8th September 2020 and Government Legislation restricts you coming to Llanlliana, we will make every effort to find a satisfactory outcome by either refunding you for your break or offering you a credit note to use towards a future break with us. Any cancellations made for bookings placed before the 8th September 2020 will be subject to a £60 cancellation fee.
